The campaign features The XX bassist, lyricist and co-singer Oliver Sims, artist Rinus Van de Velde, actor Alain-Fabien Delon, and model Victor Nylander. Van Assche explains, “In this season’s campaign, the Dior man metamorphoses into Dior men; charismatic and distinctly individual.” He continues, “they playfully subvert the rules of masculine dress while at the same time upholding its traditions. Occupying a contemporary, creative world, each character embraces qualities they are known for in their actual lives. These are the men we feel embody something of the spirit of Dior Homme today.”
Kris Van Assche, Dior Homme’s Creative Director, has collaborated once again with photographer Willy Vanderperre for the luxury brand’s SS16 ad campaign. This is the 10th time the duo has worked together, cementing Dior’s asthetics as elegant, modern, and intelligent.
