The books aim to both mimic and reflect the brand’s sensibilities through it’s colors and distinct poetic mood, a quality that has followed the designer since his Antwerp Six days.
After working with British artists Gill Button, it almost seems fitting that a book would be a nice tribute to the collaboration and a must-have for both art collectors and fashion savvy crowds. Dries’ has always had a unique way of meshing both art and fashion in ways only a few can.
The books also feature backstage photography of the fashion show that took place at the Palais Opera Garnier, a personal accomplishment by the designer. Some photographers were commissioned but the book will also feature amateur, social media photography by guests.
The two books are limited released and can only be purchased at select Dries Van Note stores.
