Hedi Slimane Takes Helm at Céline
He’s back. Hedi Slimane has been named the new Creative Director at Céline, replacing Phoebe Philo, ending her ten-year career with the brand. Slimane, who left YSL the only way he can, by rebranding the historic House and refashioning it for the ultra-cool, rock-chic crowds, is expected to breath new life into Céline and perhaps give it some explosive changes he’s become both well loved and dispised for.
