J.W. Anderson, the darling of menswear, is set to release a collaborate collection with Uniqlo later this fall, following the success of his previous collaborations with Topshop and Versace. In the meantime, the award winning British designer recently showcased his latest collection from his own line. He described it as, “a no-fuss fashion basic-ness.” Far from “basic-ness,” Anderson delivered true romantic, heart-covered classics appropriately presented at the Florentine gardens of the Villa La Pietra. With an air of vintage Americana, the designer playfully reconstructed the standards, bringing to life some often overlooked gems like the wide leg jeans and wool sweaters.
Also, this month will end J.W. Anderson’s brilliant exhibition, “Disobedient Bodies,” at Hepworth Wakefield.
