Trooping the Colour, once again. After the celebration of the Queen’s birthday with much fanfare in London, regal highlights celebrated Moschino during the Pitti Uomo Spring/Summer 2016 edition.
Much like Her Majesty the Queen and the rest of the royal family, Moschino models took up residence in a divine Renaissance-like palace decor with high ceilings and marble pillars. Before the audience in Milan, models bore their embellished gold crowns on the top of their heads and chains around their necks, their eyes fixed as if they were on a mission. The Moschino mission? Retracing the footsteps of the Spring/Summer 2015 edition, marked by the eighties and the paradox of overconsumption.
With VIP’s attending the event like A$AP Rocky and Katy Perry – who is to deliver her upcoming Moschino collaboration along with Jeremy Scott – this Spring/Summer 2016 edition stands for vibrancy and colourful energy. Debuting Pitti Uomo 2016, the menswear collection gathered the necessary ingredients to draw attention. What Scott needs now, is to keep it.
