Argentinian Film Director Gaspar Noé, whose repertoire includes some of the most visually arresting movies of the last few decades, including Irreversible and Enter The Void, returns with another blazing film simply titled Love, an X-Rated 3-D provocation.

Starring Aomi Muyok, Karl Glusman, and Klara Kristin, Love is self-described as, “a sexual melodrama about a boy and a girl and another girl. It’s a love story which celebrates sex in joyous way.” That really doesn’t say much about its plot but it doesn’t need to. The best way to enjoy a Noé movie is to know as little about it as possible and let him completely surprise you. He tends to combine visceral shock and awe with a no-holds barred approach to sex and violence, all while bringing to the forefront both the cruelty and beauty of life. At Cannes, it divided audiences – some left while the ones who remained gave it a lengthy standing ovation. It’s safe to say, his film are an acquired taste.

Love is set to be released on November 6th in the US and November 20th in the UK.
