Possibly named after the hit single by 90’s Brit-Pop band Suede (remember those legends?), The Drowners released their self-titled debut album just last week to rave reviews. Today, the quartet release a video for their single “A Button On Your Blouse.”

Directed by Pete Voelker and debuted on Noisey, the video shows two clips in one. The first of the bands frontman singing along while the rest of the group stands behind him looking effortlessly cool, put alongside a video of what looks like a little gathering in a darkly lit dive takes place.

While there are the inevitable comparisons, the band stands on their own. After touring alongside the Arctic Monkeys for most of 2013, they take on the world for 2014 with a solid sound and an equally solid album.
